NUT GOODIE BARS | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips 1 sq. chocolate 1 c. butter 1/4 c. vanilla pudding mix (not instant) 1 tsp. maple flavoring 2 lb. powdered sugar 1/2 c. evaporated milk 2 c. peanuts In a saucepan melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and square of chocolate. Pour 1/2 mixture into a jelly roll pan. Freeze about 15 minutes. Mix together butter, evaporated milk and pudding. Boil for one minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add maple flavoring and powdered sugar. Spread over first layer and freeze until firm. Add peanuts to remaining chocolate mix and spread over creamy mixture. When set cut into bars. These freeze very well. |
