LAYERED SALAD | |
1 head lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces 1 pkg. fresh spinach, torn into bite sized pieces 2 bunches green onions, tops and all chopped 1 pkg. frozen green peas, washed and drained 3/4 c. bacon, fried and chopped 8 eggs, hard boiled and chopped Layer all of the ingredients (in order listed) in a large sealable container. DRESSING: 1 c. mayonnaise 1 c. sour cream 1 pkg. HIDDEN VALLEY® Ranch dressing mix Combine all ingredients and spread over salad as if icing a cake. Seal edges well and cover. Seal container well. Refrigerate overnight. Just before serving, toss well and season to taste. It can also be topped with some of the commercial salad toppers for Accent and a little crunch. |
