CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
3/4 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. plus 1/3 c. all purpose flour
1/3 c. chopped almonds
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. chocolate mini kisses or milk chocolate baking pieces
1 c. chopped maraschino cherries, drained

1. Heat oven to 350°F grease a 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan.

2. Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat; stir in cocoa until smooth. Remove from heat, add sugar, 3 eggs, 1 1/2 c. flour and almonds; mix well. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 20 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, whisk together remaining egg, sweetened condensed milk, almond extract. Pour over baked layer, sprinkle mini kisses and cherries over top. Return to oven, bake for an additional 20 - 25 minutes. Cool in pan completely.
