FROSTED ORANGE CARROT COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
2 tsp. grated orange peel
1 c. shredded carrots (2 med.)
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

Beat sugar, butter, cream cheese until fluffy, add egg and orange peel. Stir in carrots, spoon in dry ingredients slowly; mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 11 to 12 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. soft butter
1 tsp. grated orange peel
2-3 tbsp. orange juice

Beat frosting ingredients together.
