14 soda crackers
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Crush soda crackers. Set aside. Beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually add sugar, vanilla and baking powder. Add nuts. Spread in well greased pie plate and bake 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool.

TOPPING (OPTIONAL) :

1 c. whipping ream
1 0 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, well drained
