4 c. sugar
1/2 c. salt
1 qt. vinegar
2 c. water
2 sm. strips of celery
2 cloves garlic
3 heads of dill
3 slices onion

Make syrup with above ingredients. Pour over cucumbers in 8 pint jars. To each jar add 2 small strips of celery, 2 cloves garlic, 3 heads of dill and 3 slices onions.
