HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
Salt & pepper to taste
1 can tomato soup
1 can string beans
1/2 c. milk
4-5 med. potatoes, cooked
1 egg, beaten

Cook onion and pepper in hot fat until golden brown. Add meat and seasonings, brown a bit. Add tomato soup and string beans. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mash potatoes. Add milk, salt and beaten egg. Spoon in mounds over meat mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serves 4-6.
