LIGHT YEAST ROLLS 
1 c. warm water
6 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast, dry
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. shortening

Dissolve yeast and sugar in water. Mix flour, salt, and shortening into soft dough and let rise in warm place until double in size.

Shape into rolls; place into greased pan and let rise in warm place. Bake at 425 degrees until brown.
