5 c. shredded cabbage
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sweet pickle relish
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed

In large bowl combine the cabbage and chopped onion; set aside. Stir together the mayonnaise, pickle relish, sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Pour over cabbage and onion and toss slightly to coat vegetables.
