TURTLE CAKE 
1 pkg. caramels
1 c. evaporated milk
1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
1 c. chocolate chips

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk. Set aside. Beat cake mix, 2/3 cup milk and melted butter. Bake 1/2 batter in greased 9"x13" pan in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Spread hot caramel mixture on top of layer, add nuts and chocolate chips. Spread remaining batter on top. Bake 15 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
