HAMBURGER SOUP | |
1 1/2 qt. water 2 qt. tomatoes (12 whole) 1 1/2 qt. potatoes, cubed (about 6) 1 qt. green bean (or okra) 1 qt. cut uncooked corn or (1 qt. cut cabbage) 1 1/2 qt. sliced carrots 2 c. (1") celery 2 c. diced onions 1/2 tsp. salt Mix together and bring to boil; boil 5 minutes. Pour into hot jars. Process 1 hour and 25 minutes at 10 pound pressure. When ready to use, brown 1 pound hamburger. Add 1 quart of soup and 1 quart of stewed tomatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. If desired add 1 cup noodles. Makes 7 quarts. |
