CRAWFISH CARDINAL | |
1 lb. cleaned crawfish tails 8 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 med. onion, chopped 1 1/2 c. milk to be the consistency of med. cream sauce (add more milk if needed) 1/2 tsp. white pepper 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 1/2 tsp. white pepper 2 tbsp. ketchup Melt 4 tablespoons butter in skillet. Add flour, mix until smooth and gradually add milk to make medium cream sauce. Melt 4 tablespoons butter and saute 1 medium onion and crawfish tails (1 package 1 pound tails). Add 1 teaspoon garlic salt, pepper and parsley. Add cream sauce and ketchup. Heat and pour over egg noodles that have been boiled and serve. |
