CORN COB JELLY | |
12 bright red corn cobs 3 pt. water 1 pkg. Sure Jell 3 c. sugar Boil broken cobs in water for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and strain liquid through several layers of cheese cloth. If there is not 3 cups of liquid, add enough water to make 3 cups. Add Sure Jell and sugar; bring to boil again. Boil 2-3 minutes or until the jell stage. Skim and pour into jelly glasses. Pour on melted paraffin at once. This looks, and tastes, like apple jelly. |
