TURMERIC CABBAGE SALAD 
1 lg. green cabbage, shredded
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 med. sweet red pepper, chopped
1 lg. onion, cut into rings

Put above ingredients in large bowl that has a tight fitting cover. Mix the following ingredients and bring to a boil (do not use an aluminum pan, use granite, teflon or silverstone) : 1 c. cider vinegar 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1 tbsp. salt 1 tbsp. celery seed

Pour over cabbage white still hot, stir, cover and refrigerate overnight. This will keep for weeks in the refrigerator.
