BEEF PARMESAN 
1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 med. onion, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
2 c. hot water
1/2 lb. sliced mozzarella cheese

Cut meat into 4 serving sizes, dip into egg then roll in Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs mixed together. Brown meat in oil until brown. Lay in baking dish.

Cook onion until tender in same skillet. Stir in remaining ingredients except mozzarella cheese. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour most of sauce over meat, top with mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until meat is tender. I use tenderized round steak, otherwise you have to pound the steak.
