EASY SPAGHETTI BAKE 
2 slices bacon
2 med. onions, chopped
3/4 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 1/2 c. water
3/4 lbs. uncooked spaghetti
1 c. sharp cheese, grated
Garlic salt to taste

Fry bacon about 2 minutes, add onion and garlic salt and cook until soft. Add meat and cook until meat loses its color. Stir in the seasonings, tomato sauce and water. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes.

Break spaghetti into small pieces. Put a layer in greased 2 1/2 quart casserole, add half of the sauce and half of the cheese. Repeat layers and put 1 cup more water over the top. Cover with lid or foil.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook 15 minutes longer until bubbly and brown. 12 servings.
