GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
12 sm. potatoes
2 tbsp. celery, diced
2 tbsp. onion, diced
4 to 6 hard boiled eggs, diced
5 to 6 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
Salt and pepper to taste
1/3 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. bacon grease
2/3 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
Sugar to taste

Boil potatoes with skins on and allow them to cool before peeling. Peel potatoes and cut into thin slices. Add salt and pepper. Mix onions, celery, eggs, and crumbled bacon. To bacon grease, add flour, vinegar, water, and sugar to taste. Cool dressing slightly and pour over potatoes. Serve warm.
