ALMOND BRITTLE | |
1 c. sugar 2 cubes butter 1 tbsp. white syrup 1 1/2 c. almonds Dash of salt Mix together, cook to 310 degrees. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Pour in a few minutes, on cookie sheet. Blot if necessary. (Optional - on top, layer 3 thin, or large part of big one, chocolate Hershey's bars. Spread when melted. |
