KEFTATHES (GREEK MEATBALLS) | |
1 lb. hamburger 4 slices dampened bread 1 sm. onion chopped or grated 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 beaten egg Salt and pepper to taste Mix all ingredients together. Make into small balls and roll in flour until thoroughly covered. Fry in pan containing 1/8 inch vegetable oil. Cook on one side and then turn over. Add oil as needed. Heat oil to medium heat. Should make approximately 20 meatballs. |
