CRISP CRUST DESSERT SQUARES 
4 c. corn flakes, slightly crushed
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding & pie filling

Combine cereal with sugar, cinnamon and butter. Reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture, press remaining cereal mixture into bottom of an 8" square pan. Prepare pudding as directed on package for pie; pour into pan over cereal. Top with reserved cereal mixture. Chill at least 1 hour. Cut in squares and serve with prepared whipping top, if desired. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
