CONGO BARS 
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. chocolate chips (12 oz.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and beat after each. Add sifted dry ingredients and blend well. Add rest. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Large pan 9 x 13 x 2 inches. Wonderful.
