5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla

Thicken flour and milk over medium heat and cool. Cream together butter, shortening, sugar, and vanilla. Add creamed mixture to milk mixture and beat until smooth.
