MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER 
1 gal. clam juice
1 bunch celery, sliced
1 lg. onion, finely diced
4 carrots, sliced
6 to 8 potatoes, diced
4 to 5 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 1/2 tsp. parsley
Pinch of dill weed

Simmer vegetables in clam juice until almost cooked. Then add the following ingredients: 1 (32 oz.) jar meatless spaghetti sauce 1 qt. fresh, minced clams

Cook for 10 more minutes and serve.
