KIDNEY BEANS WITH MEAT FASOULIA 
1 can white kidney beans, lima beans, or 1/2 lb. dry white kidney beans soaked overnight in 1 tsp. baking soda and washed and drained well
1/2 lb. lamb meat, sm. pieces
2 med. onions, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 qt. water
1 tbsp. tomato paste, diluted in 1/2 c. water

In large pot fry meat, onions, and seasonings. Add canned or prepared beans. Cover with water and let boil slowly for about 1 hour. When beans are tender add tomato paste diluted in 1/2 cup water. Simmer 15 minutes until mixture is thickened.
