SWEET SOUR PICKLES 
4 c. water
1 c. of barrel vinegar
1 1/2 c. of sugar
3 tbsp. of pickling salt
2 stalks of dill
Pickling spice to your taste

Bring to boil. Let cucumbers change color in hot brine, then put in jars. Pour hot mixture over and seal.
