PECAN TASSIES 
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sifted flour
1 stick butter

FILLING:

1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. broken pecans

Blend 3 pastry ingredients. Chill for 1 hour, then shape into 1 inch balls. Press into gem pans.

Beat together filling ingredients. Spoon into 2 dozen pastry lined gem cups. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
