BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter, room temperature
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat more. Sift dry ingredients and combine with butter mixture. Blend well. Add bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Beat well. Stir in nuts and pour in well greased bread pan 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour. Turn onto a rack to cool.
