BANANAS FOSTER 
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 bananas, halved lengthwise
1/2 c. banana flavored liqueur
3/4 c. rum
1 pt. vanilla ice cream

Melt butter in a chafing dish. Add sugar and cinnamon. Cook syrup over medium heat until bubbly. Add bananas. Heat 3 to 4 minutes, basting constantly with syrup. Combine liqueur and rum in a small long handled pan. Heat just until warm. Ignite with a long match and pour over bananas. Baste bananas with sauce until flames are down. Serve immediately over ice cream. Yield: 4 servings.
