PEANUT BUTTER SWIRL BAR 
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine peanut butter, shortening and sugar. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour, salt and baking powder. Spread into greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips. Place in oven for 5 minutes. Marble with knife. Return to oven for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
