MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE 
1 recipe graham cracker crust
1/3 c. slivered almonds
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
2/3 c. plus 2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs
1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Prepare graham cracker crust, adding 1/3 cup of almonds. Press over bottom and sides of an 8 inch round glass baking dish. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes.

Combine cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar, eggs, and almond extract in blender container. Process until smooth. Pour 2/3 of mixture in prepared pan. Microwave chocolate chips on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until glossy. Blend into remaining cream cheese mixture. Spread evenly over plain layer. Microwave on medium for 14 to 16 minutes or until center is set, turning dish twice. Blend sour cream, 2 tablespoons sugar, and vanilla in small bowl. Spread over top. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Let stand at room temperature until cool. Chill for 6 hours or longer. Yield: 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
