1 lb. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar, adding vanilla and then the flour. Roll into small balls and press a little hole in center. Fill with your choice of jam or jelly. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
