CRAZY CRUST APPLE PIE 
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
2/3 c. shortening
1 egg

FILLING:

1 can apple pie filling
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice

Combine crust ingredients and blend well at low speed of mixer. Beat 2 minutes. Spread in 9 or 10 inch pie pan. Carefully spoon filling over crust. Do not stir. Bake at 425 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
