BREAST OF CHICKEN HARVEST MOON | |
4 boneless chicken breasts 1 egg 1 c. milk 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. butter 1 box filo dough 1 c. apples, diced 1 c. apricots, diced 1 c. raisins, diced Mix flour and butter together. Simmer milk. Mix butter mixture with milk until thick and creamy. Set aside. Mix all ingredients, including sauce from above. Stuff each chicken breast with one quarter of mixture. Fold breast into the shape of a softball. Bake breasts for 15 minutes until skin is brown at 375 degrees. Refrigerate until cool. Use filo dough sheets one at a time. Spread with melted butter. Wrap chicken in filo dough with the seams on the bottom. Brush the filo with butter and place in a preheated oven (375 degrees) until golden brown. |
