TEXAS PECAN PIE 
1 c. light Karo syrup
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pie shell, unbaked

Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar, syrup, nuts, salt, and vanilla. Put in unbaked pie shell and bake 50 minutes at 325 degrees. The pecans should float to the top to form crust.
