1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour (be generous)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture and nuts. Last add chocolate chips. Bake at 375 degrees 8 to 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet until light brown. Makes about 5 dozen.
