PIE CRUST (For Cherry Pie) | |
1/2 c. softened butter 8 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. shortening 3 1/3 c. flour 1/3 c. cold water with 1 tsp. vinegar added Blend butter and shortening into flour, salt and sugar until like course meal. Gently blend in cold water. Roll on lightly floured surface until it fits pie pan. (This makes 2 single or 1 double.) If making baked pie shells bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned. |
