TURTLE COOKIES 
4 sqs. chocolate or 10 level tsp. cocoa
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder

Combine chocolate or cocoa and butter. Put on medium heat and stir until butter is melted and well blended with chocolate. Beat 4 eggs; add sugar. Combine egg mixture with chocolate mixture. Add flour, salt, vanilla, and baking powder. Heat waffle iron; brush with oil. Drop batter by teaspoon onto iron. Bake 1 - 1 1/2 minutes. Remove with fork and lay on cookie sheet lined with paper towel.

FROSTING:

2 sqs. chocolate or 5 tsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter

Melt ingredients in saucepan; stir until thick. Remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Beat it well. This will be thin. Use knife to spread on cookies and will fill in holes.
