"THIS IS IT" MEAT LOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 lb. ground veal
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
3/4 c. tomato juice
6 strips bacon
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Using your hands, mix all ingredients but bacon and tomato sauce together. In a large bowl "fluff" the mixture rather than compressing it. Pat into a 8"x10"x4" loaf. Place in a shallow baking dish (with a rim to hold the drippings). Cover the top with bacon strips and pour tomato sauce evenly over the loaf. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours. Skim off accumulated fat. Serves 6 to 8. microwavee: Cover with waxed paper and microwav eon medium high for 25 to 35 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
