PASTA CROUTON WITH CRAB (OR
CHICKEN)
 
large pasta shells
minced crab or minced chicken
parsley, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper
mayonnaise dressing
grated cheese (your choice)
fresh croutons, crushed
romaine or iceberg lettuce leaves

Cook pasta shells with a little salt, drain and let cool. Season meat with parsley, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, cook and let cool. Mix with mayonnaise, grated cheese, and crushed croutons, stuff cooked shells and serve on romaine or iceberg lettuce leaves.

Because the croutons when moist will not crunch, it's best to mix the croutons in just before serving, as there is that nice "crunch" to the salad.

Note: Any alternative meat can be used, and cheese of your choice as well.
