PEACH COBBLER | |
28 oz. can slice peaches 2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. vanilla extract 2 tbsp. nutmeg 4 tbsp. flour 1 2/3 sticks butter Mix all ingredients in a bowl except 2/3 stick of butter and set aside. Make a 2 1/2 cup pie crust and divide dough in 3 parts. Use 9 x 13 inch pan. Roll out 2 parts of dough into 2 long pie crusts. Lay each crust half way over side of pan leaving 2 inches free of crust in the center of pan. Pour peach mixer into pan, fold excess crust over pie filling. Roll out last part of crust and cut into 2 inch strips and lay over whole pie. Punch fork holes in pie crust. Sprinkle with a little sugar, 2 tablespoons and little nutmeg 1 teaspoon over crust and remaining butter. Slice over crust and bake for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees or until juice becomes thick. Look for crust in miscellaneous. |
