APPLE PIZZA 
2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
6 tbsp. cold water

1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 3/4 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter

Cut 15-inch circle from aluminum foil. Blend the pastry ingredients together and roll out to fit the foil circle. Place on a large cookie sheet.

Core and peel the apples. Slice into 1/2-inch thick pieces. Starting 3/4 inch from the outside of the pastry, overlap slices making 2 rings. Combine the sugar and spices, and sprinkle over the apples.

Combine flour and 1/2 cup sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the top. Turn up rim of pizza and bake at 450 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm.
