TOMATO PUDDING 
4 c. cubed white bread
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped green onions

Cut crusts from bread slices (will need 10 to 11 slices). Cube each slice into 9 to 12 pieces. Place in bottom of greased, shallow 1 1/2 to 2 quart baking dish. Combine tomato sauce, butter, brown sugar, and salt in a saucepan and heat to boiling. Add onions and pour over bread cubes. Bake 35 minutes at 375 degrees. Serves 6.

Has a good sweet and sour flavor and such a pretty red color!
