HOMEMADE CRACKER JACKS 
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Karo light
2 sticks melted butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. raw Spanish peanuts, parched
1 c. unpopped corn is 4 qts. popcorn

Stir until boils for 5 minutes butter, sugar, salt and Karo. Take off heat and add soda and vanilla. Stir and pour caramel-peanuts mix over popcorn - 4 quarts. Then put into shallow pans and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Stir after 30 minutes.
