CRANBERRY SALAD 
2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries (ground)
1 lg. banana, mashed
1/2 c. sugar

MIX ABOVE INGREDIENTS and set aside.

MIX TOGETHER:

6 tbsp. butter
2 c. vanilla wafer cookie crumbs

Use 1/2 of cookie crumbs in a 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan, pressing the crumbs firmly.

CREAM TOGETHER:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten well
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Spread over the crumbs. Top with the cranberry and banana mixture. Top with one cup of Cool Whip. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Chill for several hours before serving. Can also be frozen to serve later.
