1 c. cold milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. solid shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. soft butter
4 tbsp. flour
Vanilla

Cook milk and flour together; set aside to cool. Mix butter, shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add to cooled thickening. Beat 4 minutes.
