SHREDDED WHEAT BREAD 
2 shredded wheat biscuits
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. molasses
3 tbsp. shortening
1 yeast cake or dry yeast
5-6 c. flour

Pour 2 cups boiling water over cereal (crumbled); add sugar, salt, molasses, and shortening; let cool to lukewarm. Add yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water; mix together thoroughly. Add flour until mixture forms firm dough. Makes 2 loaves. 2/3 cup molasses can be used instead of sugar and molasses.
