SOFT MOLASSES COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. cider vinegar
1 c. dairy sour cream
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Beat shortening and sugar to cream. Beat in egg and molasses thoroughly. Add vinegar and sour cream. Resift flour with spices, soda and salt. Blend into other mixture. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
