RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
2 sticks butter (room temperature)
2 c. flour
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. finely chopped pecans
powdered sugar

Blend flour, butter and sugar. Add nuts and vanilla. Roll into balls the size of nuts.

Bake at 300°F for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.

Yields 4 dozen.
