FRUITCAKE CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
2 c. butter
3 c. brown sugar
4 unbeaten eggs

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time.

2 lb. dates
1 1/2 lb. candied cherries (may want extra lb.)
1 lb. white raisins
3 slices candied pineapple
1 lb. walnuts
1/2 lb. blanched almonds
1/2 lb. Brazil nuts
1 tbsp. vanilla
5 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. canned milk

Sift dry ingredients together, save 1 cup flour mixture to mix with fruit and nuts. Add flour to creamed mixture and blend well. Add fruit and nuts; mix well. Do not cut nuts, only Brazil nuts may be cut in half. Extra pound cherries may be added if desired. Mix in large bowl - makes lots.

Bake 13 minutes at 400 degrees.
