GOOD DAY GRANOLA 
8 c. rolled oats (not instant)
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. unprocessed bran
1 1/2 c. natural wheat germ (not toasted or honeyed)
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raw sunflower seeds
1/2 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. honey
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. raisins

Stir together first 6 ingredients. In a small pan over medium heat stir the oil, honey and vanilla until bubbly. Thoroughly mix together the liquid and dry ingredients.

Divide the mixture evenly on 2 rimmed cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes, stirring once to keep the granola evenly browned. While it cools, stir the mixture several times to keep it from sticking together. When thoroughly cool, add raisins. Store in airtight container. Note: Keeps for weeks and is yummy for breakfast or snacks. Makes about 12 cups.
